Publisher 'Amazed' By Cancer Book Reviews

They are not the easiest people in the world to impress, so when the publisher of a book confesses to being “amazed” by reviews, it’s worth taking a look.

Bangers and Mash by Keith Hern is a personal account of cancer treatment, written with the express purpose of “helping other people who have been diagnosed to know what it is going to be like”.

The book provides an unusual take on the subject as Keith used the business coaching method of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to help him fight the disease, and, being a professional photographer, he also provides a picture diary giving a unique insight into every stage of the treatment.

Publisher MX Publishing specialises in books promoting NLP, but usually in a business and professional context.   MD Steve Emecz, who took on Bangers and Mash simply because “it’s a message that needs to get out there,” has been taken aback by the response to the book.

“What I find amazing is the number of people giving this book rave reviews.  Check out the list on Amazon – the strength of feedback is amazingly strong.  You don’t see even books with huge sales getting this number of reviews, let alone any with this strength of feeling.”

Author Keith Hern has also received numerous personal messages and contacts, many from fellow-sufferers appreciating the honesty with which the book is written.

Produced digitally, Bangers and Mash is available throughout Europe and in the US, particularly appropriate since NLP is originally an American concept.
